Parks Place went in where the old Brixx Wood Fired Pizza used to be. They have a much more fun atmosphere with tons of TVs playing sports and a nice covered patio out front where you feel like you are in the heart of the fun part of Fishers.

We started with pretzel breadsticks and cheese curds. The breadsticks were probably from a freezer pack and heated up, no shame in that though, they were very good. The Sun King Cream Ale battered cheese curds stole the show though, they were gone immediately we could not stop eating them as soon as the basket was set down.

Unfortunately the pizza was rather flat, in more ways than one. It has a very light crispy thin crust but the toppings, cheese, and sauce never really felt like they fused together - it was like "ingredients" on top of thin crust pizza dough. The crust wasn't bad, if you like it on the crispy side it still had a decent flavor. It just didn't meld together to make something greater than the sum of its parts.

I'd go back in a heartbeat if buddies wanted to meet up, but I'm not rushing back for the pizza alone. You know what I think I am being too negative, the pizza was fine, I think I'm just jealous Chris' was better than mine because he got pepperoni and bacon.
