The NY Slice Food Truck

There’s something fun about grabbing a giant slice from The NY Slice, and this one definitely looks the part. It’s big, cheesy, and topped with a generous amount of sausage that brings solid flavor and a nice savory kick.

Where it falls short is the structure. I get that this is classic New York-style—meant to be folded—but this one was so limp it made eating it a bit of a hassle. Even folded, it struggled to hold together, and that took away from the overall experience.

To be fair, some people love that ultra-soft, bendy style, and it does lean into authenticity. It's not a bad slice by any means, and the flavor is there. But a little more crisp underneath would go a long way in making it something I’d actively seek out again.
